Situated in the picturesque Parque Natural just above Pampaneira this beautiful land with ruins is reached via a track road for approx 7 km. The land, of approximately 140,000 sq m has many mature trees including oak, walnut, cherry etc. It is very close to the famous Buddhist retreat and offers absolutely stunning views. The land has its own fuente or fountain and is reputed to be the only land that still had plentiful water in the drought of 1948. It is also excellent grazing land.
There are three cortijo ruins in total plus an alberca. The largest of the cortijos to restore measures some 148 sq m on each level, the medium cortijo 80 sq m and the smallest 36 sq m The ruins can be restored to their present size. In this beautiful conservation area it would be expected that one would renovate in keeping with local style.
Additionally there is a cave on the land which is reputed to have its own lake inside.
